Last Garden Party of the Summer

September 3rd, 2007 by Rob James - Magician

Just had a pretty busy weekend… Four bookings in three days. Quite manic but good fun. That reminds me… I once did four bookings in one day a couple of Decembers ago - one was an hour booking but the other three were two hours! All were in central London within 3 miles of each other. Oddly enough it wasn’t that tiring and I think I was just as upbeat at midnight when I finished as I was at the beginning. It’s interesting how taking speed natural adrenaline can keep you going. Yesterday I was at Queen Ethelburga’s College in York. Well, actually I was in the grounds of the private estate of the guy who owns the College. I think it is one of the most respected boarding schools in the country. Anyway, it was an end of summer garden party for staff and they had me, a band playing and loads of free food and drink. Thankfully the sun stayed out. I am back there on Wednesday for another event for them. In other news, I am on series 6 of 24 now. Almost finished which will be sad (what will I do with my time now?!)
