Blackpool Rocks

Was working doing close up magic at a corporate event in Blackpool last night - me, two caricaturists, living statues, a band and someone from the Drifters singing. All for around about 100 people too. The event was at the De Vere Herons Reach - a nice hotel compared to the miserable places that I have stayed in in Blackpool for the magicians convention that is held there every year. The Blackpool convention is held in February so when I usually visit Blackpool it is freezing cold, there are no tourists there (only a load of stag and hen parties) and all the main attractions are shut. So, it was nice to see it in the summer - albeit for a very fleeting visit.
