Christmas Party Magician

As I write this it’s August and pretty sunny outside… December and the world of Christmas parties couldn’t really be further from my mind. However, the reason I write this is because in the last month I have had plenty of calls and emails about hiring me to work as a close up magician / table magician for Christmas parties. A few of the peak dates have already been taken now but if you don’t usually start thinking about your office party until November then you might want to think about planning a bit earlier. Every year I am amazed by some of the calls I get at the end of November/beginning of December along the lines of “Hi, I am just making tentative enquiries about possibly booking a magician for our Christmas party next week. I just wanted to have a chat about the sort of thing you do and maybe get an idea of price”. They probably don’t realise that myself and most other decent professional magicians in this country are almost certainly going to be booked for December dates quite far in advance.
Anyway, all this talk about Christmas parties is making me feel chilly - I am going to go lay on the sun lounger in the garden.
