Recent gigs - Birmingham and Manchester

The last week has been pretty busy with bookings - I think I mentioned that on Monday I was at an end of term party for the staff of Sandwell College in Oldbury, West Midlands (near Birmingham). It was a fun event in a marquee (which is lucky as it was raining very heavily at the time) with a band playing and a caricaturist. I haven’t worked with a caricaturist for weeks and then two come along on consecutive days. This time it was Rick Coleman who I have bumped into quite a few times over the years. The last time I think I saw him was for something at a members club in Henley on Thames. Tuesday was a day off and then yesterday I was at the Marriott Worsley Hotel near Manchester doing some close up magic for a company dinner at the end of a golf day. Both events were completely different, but both were good fun. Two days off now before the weekend.
