From Edinburgh to London…

June 23rd, 2007 by Rob James - Magician

The last week has been pretty busy and I’ve been racking up the miles a bit. Last Saturday I was working at Edinburgh Castle performing table magic at a military event. An amazing venue complete with bagpipe players and someone doing a falconry display outside! My enduring memory of the night however will be walking up a seemingly endless number of steps in torrential rain to get in to the entrance when I could have just parked my car right outside (who knew?!) This Thursday I was at a black tie dinner for a firm of Solicitors held at Lords Cricket Ground in London. This is the first time I have been to Lords - the room they were all dining in was very olde English classy, I liked it. One of their clients who was along as a guest was Sir Stirling Moss who, I found out, is a big fan of close up magic. This weekend I am booked to do close up magic at a couple of weddings before a few days off.
